What is a six month programme?
A six month programme is a series of sessions where we meet twice a month to explore your experiences around a goal and build awareness around your behaviour. 6 months is required to make small gradual changes which are sustainable.
How is your health coaching different to a nutritionist or dietician?
The role of an IIN health coach is different for the scope of practice focuses on exploring and discussing non food forms of nourishment as well as nutrition. We define this as primary and secondary food.
What is primary food ?
Primary food is your lifestyle. We use tools to explore and measure these aspects i.e. career, health, physical activity, relationships etc
What is secondary food?
Secondary food is essentially all that you put in your mouth and consume. Food, drink, medications, supplements and so on.
One persons food is another persons poison. We call this ‘Bio individuality, which is the concept that not one diet or lifestyle works for everyone.
Making changes and setting goals can be challenging. There is nothing more frustrating than getting STUCK! or going round in a circle.
My method is to focus on all aspects of your life. Primary food is all the factors of your life i.e. career, relationships, physical activity, spirituality and other lifestyle factors. I guide my clients to explore and bespoke best for . his and i will then guide you through.
